This is an artificial collection of printed materials collected by the Spokane Public Library
Biographical or historical data
This collection of printed materials primarily relates to the promotion and development of Spokane and the Inland Northwest. It contains brochures, maps, promotional materials for architects, promotional materials for Northwest agriculture as well as various guides for the Spokane's Worlds Fair in 1974, Expo '74. Other printed material was also collected due to its small print run, or unusual nature. The collection includes souvenir photo albums printed of photographs of Spokane's homes, buildings, churches, and roads in order to promote tourism or to encourage settlers to the area. Other items describe parks, neighborhoods, and programs for specific events.
